On April 1, 2026, Kennesaw State University officially launched PLOT — Prototype Living of Tomorrow — by hosting the inaugural ASI Conference (ASIConf) at Prillaman Hall. The launch and the conference were one and the same: PLOT introduced itself to the public on the very day it convened researchers, students, and partners around artificial super-intelligence and intelligent living.
The day brought together five technical tracks, eleven invited speakers, and seven IEEE society partners, with more than 150 attendees representing eleven institutions. Eighteen peer-reviewed papers were published in the open-access proceedings.
Alongside the talks, PLOT showed live demonstrations and a first public look at the research infrastructure — the privacy-aware sensing fabric, the on-site edge data lake, and the 25-acre field station — that now anchors the campus.
